Having set the goals and objectives of the organization, the company then tasked one of the Directors Mike Banful, who incidentally holds a B.Sc (Hons) Agric, Dip. Ed. from the University of Cape Coast to run this establishment. Without any prior or formal training in the airline industry he set out from scratch and learnt on-the-job. He went through stringent self-thought processes of schooling himself with the aid of textbooks, magazines, brochures among others to organise the activities of the company. He was ably supported by a three-man Board of Directors made up of seasoned private businessmen, a legal consultant, a marketing consultant, a tax consultant and a staff of two. The staff strength grew as the company’s activities got expanded and currently has staff strength of fourteen with qualifications ranging from B.Sc (Hons) in Tourism, Diplomas in IATA/UFTAA to Sales and Passenger Handling (Advanced Level) and with experiences ranging between 10 to 19 years. They have also benefited from the training sessions organized by the various airlines both in Ghana and abroad in modern international travel reservations systems.

Since our incorporation in 1992, Sunlife Travel and Tours has won several local and international awards in recognition of our efficient and reliable world class services.
